To create progressive South Asian content with us, please read all the details below:
If you want to create content with South Asian Today, email us your pitch or expression of interest.
Please note all submissions made are on voluntary basis and it might take us 2-3 weeks to respond to you.
Send a Google Drive link for your multimedia content and a Google document for your written pitch. We do not accept poetry and fiction.
- Specify a category and/or title in the subject of the email along with the style (analysis, explainer, interview etc)
- Pitch must contain - the main topic, a headline and a 5-10 line summary along with how you plan to cover it using why, how, where, when and what, if necessary

How you want to express is your choice.
You can:

Your expression can be personal, commentary, opinion based, newsy and/or political.
After finalising the pitch, the deadline shall be two to three weeks. Help, guidance and direction will be available throughout the process. If you have already published a piece with another media outlet and want to re-publish on South Asian Today, it will have to be approved by us and you will also need to seek permission from the other media outlet and forward us their consent.
